What is tftp and DHCP


How can we use DHCP to find or allocate ipaddress in ubuntu.
I have connected Hawkboard, i need to known the ip address of my system and hawkboard. how can i find ip address of board connected to system, i have used serial port null modem cable and ethernet crossover cable between the board and system

you may try # arp

If you system is running GNU/Linux. You can find the Ip addresses (if it has one) by giving the following command

Code:
/sbin/ifconfig
