What is my computer architecture


Hi all,

Is there any way to find what type of architecture I am using without opening up my box? Does Red Hat and/or SuSE have a command to display hardware specs?

You can use command:
uname -i

I'd like to note that

uname -a

is best when

uname -i

does not work on your distro
