what is drive disk?


hi all!
when i was instaling linux (rh 7.3) anaconda asked me if i would like to instal linux from a drive disk.can someone tell me what it is ?
and ...maybe it's the same questoin(i don't know) is where a posibility to instal linux with the same configuration as the last time(i'm tired of choosing the same rpms every time(well as new to linux i do it usualy))

what's a disk drive?!!? erm.. an IDE or SCSI connected hard disk storage device.... that's what it means.

I don't remember seeing that option in RedHat 7.3
RedHat Linux is usually installed from CD-ROMs.

As for your last question.
No, RedHat still does not have the option to save the list of selected RPMs to floppy disk during the installation.
However, I believe that Mandrake has had that feature ever since the 8.0 release.
