Was reading some documents about disabling console access...

Might be a very stupid question, what is a console access?

When you use a modern computer-system, you almost always do so using a nice, friendly, Graphical User Interface (GUI)...

But you can also use it through a character-mode interface; even by plugging a dumb-terminal (or another computer) into the serial port! No graphics anywhere in sight... just 24 lines and 80 columns of text.

That's console mode.
