what happened?
 
i downloaded the file xmule-1.4.2-2.fr.src.rpm and i ran it and it said everything was already installed if that is true then how can i find it
any help will be appreciated

im not sure where source rpm's extract the source to by default, but check the /usr/src/ directory for your source code...it will be in another folder like , gee, maybe../usr/src/xmule/ ? lol

ok thats why i was posting in the newbie section because i am a newbie you dont have to criticize just because i know very little but thx for the help anyway

ohh and it wasnt under usr/src/xmule so if anyone knows how i can search for it or where it might be i would still appreciate it.

how about looking at the output of

find / -type d | grep xmule | less

i would make a guess at somewhere in /usr/local/src but i dont know redhat so thats pretty much a guess.

Try typing xmule from command line or a launcher.
