what does stands


what does .p1 stands in this command sudo ./csv2xml.pl /home/kthakur/infile.csv

Hi and welcome to LQ.

It's most probably a Perl extension. Please note that it's a lower case letter 'L', not number 1.

Also, be aware that Linux doesn't care about file extensions.
