I am new to Linux and a Pseudo-Geek.Please read the article below and reply to me what does Bikini Blue means for Linux guys

Linked files or directories as it looks like in this case. These default settings for colorization can be changed, but I forget where to do that off the top of my head.

What am I asking ..and the link you have sent doesn't seem to have any corelation

Also, type in a terminal
echo $LS_COLORS
to see your default settings.

If you insist on the exact answer to your question "what does Bikini Blue means for Linux guys", then the answer is nothing. For different people it means different things.

Hi,

Maybe you should look at 'Rute Tutorial & Exposition' to get a better understanding of GNU/Linux. Off page linking with formulating a question and/or error to what you are having a problem understanding then that can be rather broad to compose a response to. Compose your question and related information here. If a page is necessary to support your problem then you should note as such.

BTW, the color is used to distinguish file types. You can control this when doing a 'ls' with the '--color' parameter. Do a 'man ls'.

Thanks Uncle Theodore..that helps a little bit.but feeling sleepy already seeing the possible math involved..in it :)
