Linked files or directories as it looks like in this case. These default settings for colorization can be changed, but I forget where to do that off the top of my head.

Maybe you should look at 'Rute Tutorial & Exposition' to get a better understanding of GNU/Linux. Off page linking with formulating a question and/or error to what you are having a problem understanding then that can be rather broad to compose a response to. Compose your question and related information here. If a page is necessary to support your problem then you should note as such. BTW, the color is used to distinguish file types. You can control this when doing a 'ls' with the '--color' parameter. Do a 'man ls'. |
