What do I use in the terminal of PCLinuxOS to get an update??
 

I tried dksu and sudo but neither one works. Can you please help me with this? Thanks!!

Well I rebooted and in 5 minutes the updates were found. There were 570 updates- 40 to be removed- and 112 to install. However the package manager gets no farther than the install packages!! How do I get to install the package updates?

theirs got a be a button on there somewhere to click on or in the menu to complete that task. keep looking.

Might have to select only 10 or so at a time???

I went to the " edit " in the package manager and found something that called for 13 or fourteen packages to be updated; after that I was able to almost update everything!! I got errors and was told to " RPM::Allow-Duplicated { "^drakx-kbd-mouse-x11$"; };" but I do not have any idea where or how to do this. I now have two os one at 2010 and the other at 2014. How can I fix this, please?? Thanks!!
