what directory is java install? what CMD determined where java is install? Thks.

To whom it may concern

I have java install on my Suse machine but I do not know the path or where it is install on my machine.

What command do you type at the root of the directory to find the path as to where or what directory java is install?

Right now I type Java -version at the Root and I get this message

linux:/home/suse2166 # java -version
java version "1.4.2_01"
Java(TM) 2 Runtime Environment, Standard Edition (build 1.4.2_01-b06)
Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build 1.4.2_01-b06, mixed mode)

but where and what directory is java install? /usr/java ...what .... Thanks
