What command should I use to discover my video card?

As you can see I'm very new to Linux, I've been searching the web for hours and still have no clue on how to discover what video card I have. I'm sure I have one.

I'm trying to install it because I want to run Google Earth on OpenGL mode (which they say is faster).

You may have to install hwinfo, but # hwinfo --gfxcard will tell you everything you could possibly want to know about your video card and it's capabilities.
