What can i do with Embedded Freedom Linux?

Hi

I'm a noob at linux. i dont know what can i dow ith linux anyway. (anyway, i wanted to try many stuffs on linux, but all my time installing it through VMware failed.) However, i discovered another interest, airsnort, i wish to power my linux cdrom (freedom linux), then start sniffing for packets.

how can i do that? their site claim that airsnort is installed on this 'linux cdrom'.

ok:
1) You've successfully bumped this post in various ways in the past 32 minutes twice. Bad manners. Being a member since 10/03, you should know this.
2) the command is this:
Code:
[user@domain user]$ lynx
3) from this error:
Quote:
Gtk-WARNING **: cannot open display:
i think you'll need X running to run this airsnort program

<EDIT>
By the way, this is editing a post. There is a button to the lower-right of all your posts that says 'edit'. try clicking that button to add more info if someone has not yet responded as opposed to creating replies.
