Hi. First off best wishes and have fun. :) I'm just a hobbyist but would assume the more schooling, certified and, long run, experienced the better. Here is a start to more links, just don't swim randomly: http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...ux-4175490919/ :D

You find a job the way anyone else would: websites, newspaper ads, word of mouth, etc. Then you apply for the job, and pass the interviews. There is no 'magic wand' that will make it easy for you to get a job in ANY field. And how can anyone, anywhere, tell you what the future is? Either you want to get the RHCE or you don't...but if you DO, don't get it for the sake of saying you're 'certified'. Get the KNOWLEDGE behind it first...there are LEGIONS of people who have 'certifications', who very obviously don't know the subject well. If you get certified without a good depth of knowledge, all you'll do is get a job you're not qualified to do...and it will be VERY obvious, VERY quickly. You'll get fired, and that WILL follow you for a LONG time.

There's only one way to get a JOB in any field not just to linux and that is practice, the more yuou practice the more you understand and not just pratice to get a job do that to know the work the and job would be in your hands as easily.

there's a lot of scope for a linux professional.. nowadays i seldom hear about windows servers.
