What are the key stroke combinations for foreign language accents in Office?


In Windows Word there are combination key strokes to get language accents inserted in the text. How do you get the same thing in Office? I am trying to use foreign phrases in an English document.

In the main menu bar: Insert --> Special Character. I've never seen shortcut keys for this

Use your Compose key. The keyboard configuration tool will enable you to nominate a spare key for Compose: Right Control or Menu are handy. Then you can type sequences like
"Compose ~ n" for
"Compose , c" for
