What's the name of the file that runs programs at x-login?

Back in May, I modified a file so that mprime runs automatically at gnome login. It runs when I log in as myself, but not when I log in as root.

Now I want to modify that file again, but I no longer remember what it's called, or where I found it. (Getting old sucks...)

Well, at least I can remember to tell you which distro I'm using. (RH 9)

All assistance, even SWAGs, are appreciated.

Nope, didn't work.

I'm trying to find it by doing a search for a file that contains "mprime", but dang, it's taking forever. I even restricted the search to files modified over 150 days ago.
