wget problem

I'm trying to use wget to download joe (I'm a noob, learning some basics) but I can't get it to download. The message I get is:

Resolving ftp.is.co.za... failed: Temporary failure in name resolution.

when trying to download:

ftp://ftp.is.co.za/mirror/centos/4.6...rhel4.i386.rpm

from: http://rpm.pbone.net/index.php3/stat....i386.rpm.html

I'm running CentOS 4.3 which is newly installed and basically nothing done to it yet. What am I doing wrong?

I'm using the command:

wget ftp://ftp.is.co.za/mirror/centos/4.6...rhel4.i386.rpm

Thanks for your help.

I wasn't able to use wget or curl to retrieve a file from ftp.is.co.za. I was able to ftp, login anonymously and then retrieve a file.

First check that you have name servers in your /etc/resolve.conf file. See if you can ping ftp.is.co.za by name. Then try:
ftp ftp.is.co.za

OK, I worked out part of the reaosn why I couldn't get there; my gateway wasn't sent in my ifcfg-eth0 file. Now though, when I try to use ftp ftp.is.co.za, I get a login page. No matter what I put it, it always says:

530 This FTP server is anonymous only.

How do I log in anonymously?
