wget command not found
can't get yellow dog linux to stop shutting down after booting process begins so i installed red hat linux 9 in virtual pc on my osx box.
i'm trying to install ximian desktop and i get this
[user@localhost x]$ su
Password:
[root@localhost x]# wget -q -O h**p://go.ximian.com |sh
sh: line 1: wget:: command not found
sh: line 2: Usage:: command not found
sh: line 3: unexpected E0F while looking for matching ``'
sh: line 4: syntax error: unexpected end of file
[root@localhost x]#
what do i do now? i did a whereis wget and got this back:
wget: /usr/bin/wget /usr/share/man/man1/wget.1.gz
whew. now how do i proceed?

Try using the full path:
/usr/bin/wget -q -O h**p://go.ximian.com |sh

sorry, i should have mentioned that i tried that and got the same exact error. and i'm typing in the pipe symbol before sh. it's not an L.
