wget and FTP

How do I use wget to make a mirror of a website which contains javascript such as fphover.class?

I've tried the following:
wget -r

which downloads the site OK, but doesn't include the javascript in menus.

I've also tried using wget

but get an error message:

Connecting to[]:21... connected.
Logging in as usernameLogged in!
==> SYST ... done. ==> PWD ... done.
==> TYPE I ... done. ==> CWD not needed.
==> PORT ...
Invalid PORT

Any suggestions appreciated

I assume you want the code for the javascript-menues:
Download Web Developer 0.9.2[1]. It's a nice extension for Firefox
