Weired desktop layout

My desktop turned into something very weired (see attached picture).I have checked my display configuration with nvidia-settings command and it looks fine.
i have also tried killall gnome-panel and restart it, it didnt work either.
Does any one know the problem?

Looks like 1 of 2 problems:

1: you have duplicate panels and need to get rid of the others

2: the panel height was increased but the pixmap being used for the background doesn't stretch, so it just tiles down. Change the size back to 30-35px and see if it goes back.

Try this..Not sure will it work or not:

Hold alt button and right click on the panels(Grey bars at the top). You may get some options like add to panel/ remove...etc!!
