Weird Printing Problem
 

I have a Lexmark z23 Printer and I just installed Mandrake 9.1,
I got the printer working just fine, but when I shut down or restart my computer, it won't print again unless I uninstall the printer, restart, and reinstall the printer again. Then if I restart the computer again , I have to keep uninstall the printer, restart computer and reinstall the printer again just to get it to work. Does anybody know what may be going wrong? :confused:

I think this has to do with auto-detecting the printer on startup.

I have a Z32 and on occasion it wont be detected on my usb. Try keeping the printer turned off when you boot , that seems to typically work for me. Not sure why...:scratch:

Are you using parallel or USB?

Also try checking linuxprinting.org
