weird lib happenings.

recently i was trying to get snes9x working under linux. i needed so i installed svgalib and evything worked fine. i didnt change anything after that, but now when i try running snes9x it again says "unable to open shared library"
i reinstalled svgalib and symlinked the acquired appropiate lib to /lib/libvga.s0.1, and now it says it needs libm.5 or something. i however do not understand how it worked fine before and all of a sudden its unable to open the shared libraries which it opened so many times before. its driving me mad figuring out how to get it to ork again. HELP PLEASE!!!!!
