Hello, ive just switched to linux SuSe 9.3 Pro...so far so good. Ive got everything up and running and liking it so far.
However, i wanted to ask why websites look so crap now. I think its something to do with fonts because the font looks awful. Screen resolution is fine, graphics card is also working perfectly. I would have posted a screen shot but i dont know how to do it in SuSe.
So, can anyone help me by sugesting how i can make websites look good again. Im sure its something to do with fonts, but i havent got a clue what to do.
Thanks!

Hi and welcome to LQ If you look through YAST there is, from memory, the MS Fonts package that you can install. Once installed restart KDE and the look should improve.
Alternatively, if you dual boot or have them handy, via KDE's font installer just install them.
Hmm, please accept my apologies if i sound stupid...im looking through yast but i havent got the slightest clue where the fonts configuration is. (This is my first day on linux so forgive me )
Open a console, type in "rpm -ivh <packagename>.rpm" (minus the quotes). Or just double click it and, when the buttons come up, click the one that says "install with YAST".
