webmin question

I know that this is probably user error, but when I try to start webmin I get an error saying "connetction was refused to localhost.localdomain:10000".

I typed the url: http://localhost.localdomain:10000/

what could be causing this? I checked in my /etc/hosts and the /etc/sysconfig/network
files and they both have the localhost.localdomain line in them. Can anybody point me in the direction of what I am doing wrong??

https://localhost:10000/ or https://127.0.0.1:10000/ you need the secure connection of https.

Thank you for replying to my message, I tried both and got the message:

"the connection was refused when attempting to contact localhost:10000"
"the connection was refused when attempting to contact 127.0.0.1:10000"
