webmin error: unable to open a webpage even though virtual server in apache is added

Hello,

I am pretty new to webmin.

I tried creating a virtual server in apache and it got created successfully.
(I also added a zone in dns for that domain successfully)
However, when I try opening that domain in my browser, I see a popup window which asks me what to do with "default" which is a php file type.

I dont see the index.php which should actually open. What do I do to make the php files display correctly?

Are you sure mod_php is installed and configured? You will need php installed and apache configured for it. Else your server will not know what to do with the page and will just send it over to browser and you will get the pop up.

Hello Chaitanya,

This server earlier had Plesk, I got the server migrated to webmin from plesk.

For domains that are already present (which were created in webmin during the migration) all pages display correctly, however when I try to add a domain in apache now, and try opening that website, I get this error.

Is it some configuration that I have to do?
