Question webmin bind configuration problems

I am working with virtual SuSE servers on a IBM MF. These servers are just clones of a master i created to run as virtual servers on the mainframe e series box. SuSE/Linux works fine.

I have installed webmin because many here are either not unix or linux savvy.

anyway, the install of BIND 9.0+ under webmin goes just fine.

Then the problem exists.

All i am trying to do [and this is being thwarded by our internal networking group support...they want to own it all...go figure] is make a simple DNS to respond to the

But just getting the correct selections and config is proving to be problematic.
i selected to install a new master zone where i put in all info for the config. name of svr, etc. it likes that and then said "apply changes" i get the following
'rncd : connect: connection refused'

any clues.

PS: i would just like to set up the simple process of having this server, when pointed to by a client on a workstation, act as their primary DNS.
