webcam color starts fine, then goes crappy...
 

Hello,

No idea how to troubleshoot this. I"m using on old D-Link webcam, hardware manager shows it as a omnivision webcam. I'm using a utility called videograb to capture images every second and put them in my web directory.

So, when I start up then webcam, using either videograb or camorama (gnome utility), the picture and color are both fine. After a random amount of time, usually a couple minutes, the color goes to shades of an ugly light blue, and if I use the RGB2BGR option the color goes all yellow. I wouldn't figure it's the cam itself going, as it's always plugged in and on, just not always having images captured. Plus, if I stop the video capture program and restart it, it clears up the color thing for a minute.

So, what other info can I post to help you help me?

Any ideas?
