Web Woes

I've just installed Mandriva Limited Edition 2005 and have got it all working apart from I can't browse the web.

I'm connected to my router fine, I can ping linuxquestions with out any problems from the command line, however, when I try and browse it or any site in firefox it always timesout...

I have a router and automatically assign IP and DNS - and this works fine when booting up in windows..

I did have Suse9.2 on the box before mandriva and had no problems?!

Any Ideas??

Can you post the output of ifconfig, and the contents of /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth0?

I've now gone back to Suse9.2.

However, I'm still having problems browsing in firefox - the Konqueror browser works fine, but when I try to load a site in Firefox it never seems to find the site.

Any ideas? Do I still need to post ifconfig ?
