web tools

thread moved

I want to create web pages and php pages. Now linux doesn't have a dreamweaver but can anyone recommend web tools that

- create webpages and have good html code editiing facilities.
- edit php scripts with mysql code.
- javascript code

PS I can't get Flash or ASP for linux as well can I (I hate to ask but I have to).

Bluefish and Nvu are both really good at editing html, Nvu is more of a dreamweaver replacement though, and Bluefish is for coding

Why does ASP need perl?

To get mod-perl to work i need Cpan the mod-perl and it all looks very messy. rpm also fails with fedora if dependecies are not there so i prefer yum if i can use it.

Is ASP install a real pain due to mod-perl?
