Web address mask

I am trying to setup a web server at my house. I have a static IP address. I also have a website and have configured my router so i can get to it via the web. My domain registration was through Godaddy.com. The problem i am having is that when i type in my domain name, it immediatly changes (because of the godaddy.com forwarding) to my IP address. Godaddy has site masking, but if i type in mysite.com/images, etc. It always goes to just mysite.com. I am curious if there is any other way or something i need to setup on the server to make the address show the domain name. Essentially replace my IP address with the domain name....
10.10.10.10 => mysite.com,
10.10.10.10/images/ => mysite.com/Images
10.10.10.10/links/ => mysite.com/links
you get the picture

Instead of goddady, use dyndns.org - it's free, and has no such problems.

my only issue with dyndns is there free redirection adds popups for the free service

Don't use free redirection - use the free Dynamic IP Resolving service.

just to check... i went and signed up with dynDNS and choose the dns service, but it wants me to have a mywebsite.homeserver.net instead of being able to use just mywebsite.com. Does anyone know if i transfer my domain to dyndns, will it give me the ability to setup my domain to point to my ip address

it appears if i want to use mywebsite.com as my address and have the ability to directly go to places like mywebsite.com/Images/junk.html, etc. I need to purchase the Custom DNS service from dynDNS which will update the name servers. It cost 24.95 a year, but i am running a business and don't want mywebsite.dyndns.net. So unless anyone else has any other suggestions, I guess i should shuck up the 24.95
