watch dog script to monitor remote pc.
 

dear all,
i need a watch dog script on my Linux machine to monitor a PC with windows operating system every 5 minute, and to wake it up if that PC is off.
please help.

It would be simpler to disable suspend/hibernate on the Windows machine ... however if you really want to, you'll probably want ether-wake - just put the command in cron.
