Hi guys, thanks for all of your support through all the forums, It was quite a read since the week I've been on with Linux. I have Slackware 10 on my other partition, typing this on my Windows XP . :eek: . I really loved Linux, especially learning it, I stayed till morning every day to get the thing as stable as I could, and to learn this and that. I was a journey I won't forget ;) but I've began slowly, booting to windows day by day.

Since the upgrade to KDE 3.3 it just keeps on crashing. I need Dreamweaver and Photoshop on it, havn't tried them yet, but will do, just need support from you guys. I'm not a complete newbie by the way. Been developing software, games, advanced design, and programming, but all of it on my Windows. I just want to move on to Linux, HELP!!!

We're going to need a little bit more information about the KDE crashes. What happens? Does it even load up? If so, what are you doing when it crashes?

Downgrade kde and get hold of gimp.

It happens when I have sound turned on and I believe theres conflict from one the drivers. I'm using CM8738 sound and there must be a fix somewhere. It just hangs, the mouse, keyboard everything, except the reset button or the main power supply.

I loved KDE 3.3, customized it to the best look and feel. Linux is fast and stable, I love it, but I still fear crash when writing a 1000 line PHP :jawa: non stop.

I'm not trying to be a troll or Gate's supporter, but I'm just trying to love Linux :)
