I am trying to play Warcraft III Frozen Throne on BNET... I have the game installed with ROC (the first version of wc) but I need to update the game, so i download the update from blizzard.com but it runs and shows me black screen with mouse and nothing happens., so How can i make wine mount the cd from my linux to windows? is it posible... TY!!
ok, looks like wine is installing my Floppy drive for windows, the C drive for windows, and looks like a Z: drive too, with linux files on the Z:... but what about my D: drive, in setup it says its linked to my CDROM for linux, and it should work, but i duno, any help anyone???
At one point I had TFT running on my box, but that was months ago. I dont know if there is a noCD hack to be found on the internet for the current upgrade or not. Regardless, to get yourself going in the right direction, you need to look at the wine website. There is a how to for WC3 that (two years ago I couldnt understand) but these days makes sense. Find the how to. Good luck!
