Want to remove a kernel that always hang, where do I comment it out?

Dear all,

Every boottime I get to choose between
FC (2.6.5-1.358 smp)
or
FC (2.6.5-1.358)

The first one always hang, so I wish to remove it. I remembered my sys admin uncomment it to remove it somewhere but I cannot remember how.

Anyone can teach me how to remove that kernel?

Thanks a lot

Depending on whether you use LILO or GRUB, you'll want to edit the specific file:
lilo.conf
or
grub.conf

If it's lilo, make sure to run /sbin/lilo afterward.
