Want to listen but not sure how...

Hi All,

I'm new to Linux and am trying to find out how to listen to audio media. For instance, one of my favorite online radio stations lets you listen via the following options:

Windows Media Player
RealPlayer
Winamp
iTunes or Other

I'm using Fedora Core 3 and am used to using RealPlayer with Windows. I also have some MP3s I want to hear. When I try to listen to an mps, Helix Player complains that the content is not supported and I should download RealPlayer. Any eduction you can throw my way is much appreciated.

Thanks,

lowbrow

Uhh... Looks like I figured it out.

Gee. Just downloaded Realplayer and all seems to work now. I seem to remember doing this before for watching mpegs though and it didn't work. Any good mpeg programs out there for Linux?

Thanks,

lb

I use mplayer for videos and xmms for audio. Give xmms a shot, you'll really like it.
