want to have free dvd version of ubuntu 9.10
 
I like to have DVD of ubuntu 9.10..recent version..but only live cd is available from the site..from where I can get dvd version of it without any cost...from this forum i came to know that ubuntu is mostly used/popular in the world..for this reason i am interesting using it...kindly help me

Just select your location and next the version you want.

If you're asking about the getting a free DVD shipped to you. Then no, only the CD is available for free. If you want the DVD, you have to buy it.

I don't think DVD provides more stuff than CD,just multiple language packs, right?

If it just provides more software, that doesn't matter because you can get it from the repos later.

Another option is to find out a local Linux Users group around your area and ask members if they can lend you one. You sure will find someone to help you. And there are plenty of Linux magazines that will ship dvds if you buy them or get a subscription.
