want to do a clean install


How do I completely remove my old windows install, format my drive before installing Debian? This is an older machine running xp home.

You can use the Debian partitioning tool to completely remove windows and then create new Linux partitions.

Another option would be to hook it up to the internet and let it self-destruct But reddazz's suggestion will be quicker ... or will it
