Want to block Yahoo web chat through Dansguardian(or squid)

well hi everybody i want to block yahoo mail chat in dansguardian. i had google few thing i come to know that i need to do this
locking DNS lookups to webcs.msg.yahoo.com and httpcs.msg.yahoo.com by returning 127.0.0.1. i havent have dns configured. so what i need to do solve this problem. i had tried by making an entry in etc hosts file. but it didnt worked.
your responses will be highly appreciated.

buddy i had tried to google. but didnt find the desired results. i would genuinely appreciate n give u the yellow rose if u cooperate.

Hi,

Both links point to pretty concrete solutions on how to configure Squid to block various messenger services. Try them out and see if they work for you or what errors/problems they generate.
