wanna convert server to linux..

yea, i wanna convert my "server" to linux...its not a production level server, dont worry theres just one problem...for my website, i use .asp files (active server pages). from what i understand, its for there a way i could use the .asp files with linux? i use them to list the contents of a directory...its much better than the default directory listing page apache/iss has...thats gonna be my big problem..

ok, now...i wanna know if i can convert ntfs partitions to...anything but ntfs lol (since last time i checked...linux cant write to well to ntfs) >.< if not, ill just backup the files and reformat (so much work...)

last, if u have any suggestions on which distribution i should use, it'd be helpfull =)

"server" specs:

AMD Athlon 2600+ @ 2.0 GHz
768 MB PC 2700 RAM
80 GB 7200 rpm seagate
40 GB N/A rpm Quantum Fireball (so incredibly so...)
Nvidia GeForce 4, 64 MB
Nforce 2 chipset

now you know why i call it a "server" (quotes) hehe lol
