Okay I am trying to get vsftpd to work over ldap.
Here is my configuration for /etc/pam.d/vsftpd
auth required /lib/security/pam_ldap.so
account sufficient /lib/security/pam_ldap.so
account required /lib/security/pam_unix.so
password sufficient /lib/security/pam_ldap.so


The machine is configured to work over ldap and that works. I can login with ssh over ldap but not vsftpd. I am missing something?

This is my /etc/pam.d/vsftpd:
auth required /lib/security/pam_ldap.so
account sufficient /lib/security/pam_ldap.so
account required /lib/security/pam_unix.so
password sufficient /lib/security/pam_ldap.so


Here is my vsftpd.conf file:
