vsftpd error between FC2 and FC3

People,

I have two servers, one running FC2, the other with FC3.

Both are running vsftpd.

When I try to access either server from my WinXP laptop using CuteFTP, I can.

When I try to access either server using gFTP from the other server, here's a sampling of what I get:

<<<begin pasted section>>>

Looking up blackbox
Trying blackbox.cricketfeet.com:21
Connected to blackbox:21
220 (vsFTPd 1.2.1)
USER keith

331 Please specify the password.
PASS xxxx
230 Login successful.
SYST

215 UNIX Type: L8
TYPE I

200 Switching to Binary mode.
CWD /home/keith

250 Directory successfully changed.
PASV

227 Entering Passive Mode (192,168,1,251,253,115)
Cannot create a data connection: No route to host
Disconnecting from site blackbox

<<<end pasted section>>>

IPv6 is not enabled on any of the machines in my network.

The machines both have ports in the same Cisco 2924 Switch.

They can definitely see each other fine.

SE Linux is disabled, not that it should matter.

If I turn Passive Mode off, I get a similar message, but it goes through to tell me it's getting a listing of the directory... then it sits there.

I'm lost trying to troubleshoot this. Where do I start looking?

Also, what I really want to do is move files from the FC2 machine, so that I can totally blow it away, and then set it up as a simple rsync backup machine. But LISA doesn't want to browse, and I haven't set up SMB or NSF on either machine. I figured ftp would work...

Thanks,

Keith
