vsftpd configuration question
 

hey guys, i set up vsftpd and its working, except for one issue, its not going to the directory i want it to.

I only set it up to upload files for apache, so i have in my vsftpd.conf the following:

local_root=/var/www/html/


but when i log in with my user it takes me to my home directory, which im guessing is default.

Do i have to create a user specifically for the webserver and make the home directory for that user '/var/www/html/"?

created a user named 'web' and then used "usermod web -d /var/www/html/" and its going to the directory i want. Not sure if that is the best way to do it, but as long as it works....
