VNC on Ubuntu

Hi

from ubuntu or any linux, i installed vino

my question is about when ubuntu restart and no one login at first time
why i cant remote it from windows OS to ubuntu
need to login first before vino activated in the system of ubuntu

If i compare to windows, even windows is restarted and still in login session, i can able to remote it.

thanks

just because something is installed doesn't mean it is running. You need to run your vnc server to connect to it. Presumably you automatically start it when you log in to the desktop.

If you want to use vino for vnc, and have it autostart after boot, then you should consider configuring your display manager to automatically log you in when you start.

Please note that I don't use vino, but from your description of the problem, I think this approach should work.
