VNC and SUSE9.3

Hello. I am currently running SUSE 9.3 I have VNC server enable and it does work, but when i try to access the interent through VNC i get no internet access. Anybody know why that is? makes no sense if i'm able to VNC from work to home and not acess the internet through VNC. Also those anybody know what command you need to use to see what you have running? I have tried ps -au and jobs commands, but jobs doesn't seem to work in SUSE and ps -au doesn't show me the detailed names of the programs running. Thanks for your help on this, hope to hear from you soon thanks bye!

I'm not sure what you're trying to do. Are you trying to access a headless box or a home computer outside your home intranet?
Vnc may not be the tool you want for what you're trying to do.

oh yeah, i forgot to give the solution about this. After further investigating i forgot to put in my ISP's DNS servers. Because i gave my remote PC's a static internal IP. I don't it had to do with VNC, or some SUSE service, but it wasn't. All is well, but thanks for the reply back on this.
