Vmware is not working on RHEL 4 U4
Hi all,
i recently installed latest version of VMWARE on my RHEL 4.
after installation it ran for the first time & got hanged so i had to restart the system, but since then whenever i m trying to start via GUI or command line its not responding.
i uninstalled it & reinstalled it a few times but stil same thing persists.
Distribution: Debian, Ubuntu, Redhat, Fedora, SLES, OpenSUSE, FreeBSD, Mac OS X

What does "/var/log/messages" & "/var/log/vmware/vmware-serverd.log" say? What is the version of VMware?
Is it RHEL 4 AS/WS/ES and which update of RHEL 4?
How much RAM & SWAP does you system hold?
