I got this error when running vmware-config-tools on opensuse 11

X is running fine with the new config file.

VMware Tools is installed, but it has not been
(correctly) configured for the running kernel.
To (re-)configure it, invoke the following command:
/usr/bin/vmware-config-tools.pl.

Have you definitely installed the kernel source package matching your installed kernel, and the kernel headers package (I believe)?
