i have installed vmware as u have guided thank you for that but when i open applications -> system -> vmware server console it was unable to open what could be the reason?
As for installing, that is pretty easy. I believe that both vmwareplayer and vmwareserver are available in rmp format. Just donwload and install with rpm -ivh package name. And then there is compiling left to do. cd to the directory where vmware was installed and run the file that ends in .pl.
Install tip: Add RAM to your system.. each vmware appliance that is running reservers a block of RAM and your system needs RAM as well.. if you don't have enough RAM in your box, the performance of the VM will be dismal.
