VM Ware + Mandrake + Internet = Problems


I have VM Ware brdiged to Vnet0 which is my nic and I have a virtual win98 isntall which gets on the net just fine. My problem is Mandrake 9.2 will not, Even drake wont get an IP. I get some error during boot about brigning up eth0. Can some1 tell me what I need to do. VM Ware tools are isntalled and working..

Ok, Let me get this clear... You're VMware sees the virtual nic just fine, right? And that Mandy isn't getting an ip either from your modem or your router, right? Well, then the problem is either in Mandrake itself or it is in the router/modem... Let me know if what I assumed thusfar is correct.
