vlc blurry/orange video
 
I have mint 10 and all videos are orange like squares and blurry? What do I do or add to clear this up?

Welcome to LQ

Try
Settings => Preferences => Video => untick the "Accelerated video output (overlay)" box and save.
restart vlc
