VLC & Smplayer : Subtitle in MKV Problem


hi everyone ...

I have a problem in MKV Video

Arabic subtitle appears irregular

Like This :

in both VLC and SMplayer

in .MKV files only , all MP4&AVI... etc is good and show arabic subtitles correctly

im trying my best to find solution

but no solution work with me

im using fedora 19 64-bit

any idea please ?

Are these taken from a .srt file? If so is the text irregular in the .srt file? Are you saying that if you convert the .mkv file to an .mp4 file or an .avi file then the subtitles appear ok?
