virtual desktopu

u know how on gnome, when u put a window on the second virtual desktop, and u go back to the first vitual desktop, u won't be able to c ANYTHING from the second virtual desktop. like u cannot c the screen, NOR can u see the tab on your toolbar; however how do i achieve this on KDE? if i put a window on second virtual desktop, and then go to the first virtual desktop, i won't be able to c the window being opened anymore; however, it is still on my toolbar... and if i click on it, it automatically goes on my first virtual desktop...

i want to keep some programs open, yet be able to work on the first virtual desktop, c this way i cannot, because all the programs still appear on the toolbar and get it clogged up

Right click toolbar, select "configure panel".
"taskbar" tab
uncheck "Show windows from all desktops"
