I cannot see how to install the os in virtual box.I was instructed to install DKMS which I did. The cd drive is visible but and i can find the setup files for windows but linux does'nt want to play. It should be very simple. Use the New button which will start a wizard to make a new virtual machine. If you're not sure on configuration, the default is most likely fine. After you've made the machine, go to its configuration and under CD tell it to either mount an ISO or mount your actual CD drive on boot. Then hit start and it works like a regular computer.
